A Bangkok esperti a confronto sul clima: non c'e' piu' tempo da perdere

I maggiori esperti di mutamento climatico sono riuniti a Bangkok per definire an action plan to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide and thus limits the impact of global climatico.Partecipano experts in climatology and environment, as well as representatives of the governments of more than 150 countries. There are divisions on the tools to put in place. And the forecasts are not optimistic. The two reports released earlier this year by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC the acronym in English) have outlined a gloomy picture and announced that if there will be a turnaround in the coming decades there will be areas of world parched by drought and famine, and other devastated by floods and hurricanes, and the world's population will have to deal with the increase of hunger and malattie.L 'assise IPCC will continue until Friday when it released the third-awaited report that delineeerà instruments to reduce greenhouse gases and make the earth safe from a disaster that would have unforeseen consequences even on the global economy. The objective is to identify technologies and measures to allow emissions descend to 26,000 million tonnes in 2030, the share that would seem to stem the rise in temperature. According to experts, within this century the temperature will rise between 1.1 and fact 6.4 centigrade degrees c, an alarming prediction as it is believed that the increase of more than 2 degrees will result in the disappearance from the face of the earth by about 30 per percent of species.

strategy be put in place over the next two decades requires investment of tens of millions of dollars, according to the IPCC, stabilizing the missions of greenhouse gases will cost between 0.2 and 3 percent of gross world product by 2030 (fee varies depending on the rigidity of government action), a huge amount but could be offset by the improvement of public health triggered abasement atsmosferica levels of contamination. And 'certain that between now and Friday, there will be clashes in Bangkok and controversy because the experts will present proposals on the use of alternative energy, which is also widely tested, but at issue (for example, nuclear energy), some of which are not clear about the consequences (such as underground storage of carbon dioxide). Not only that. The Union-Euorpea that is committed to reducing its carbon dioxide emissions 20 percent by 2020 - will have to deal with the U.S. and China, the two countries responsible for more pollution from coal. The final document will be modified (already more than 1,000 amendments tabled) to introduce the recommendations that emerge in the course of the meeting. But the draft report that has already circulated the claims that governments no longer have time to waste as the means to reduce too-cheap-gas emissions are pollutants, and are renewable energy (wind e il nucleare), il maggiore uso del nucleare (contro il quale però puntano i piedi i gruppi ambientalisti); l'intercettazione e lo stoccaggio delle emissioni delle centrali elettriche a carbone, il rimboschimento, una maggiore efficienza degli impianti di illuminazione e insolazione degli edifici.

They are responsible for much of the greenhouse effect, and they seem determined to keep going with the oil until the end - when it is almost sold out. We certainly want a much more effective than those that are usually proposed by governments. For example: the prohibition of burning gasoline after say 5 years at most. This would have a huge effect on 'global economy. But it is increasingly clear that this is a matter of survival. Unfortunately it often happens that the statistics are worse than they expected. There is an 'extreme urgency about the warming of the globe. I know I'm a bit 'extremist, but we live in very extreme - così difficile da gestire.
