THE ROLE OF THE MINORITY. S convenient for the Junta, but proactive
"We are the rule and we do what we want! You are the opposition so quiet and peaceful. " This is the message that is sent to us on several occasions by the junta. However, for us, doing politics means to serve the people. Ensure means to oppose, but also saying no to proposals that do not share, and above all stimulate, suggest, insist that projects and activities will be realized. Here is a summary of the proposals on the budget, which it does not mean surrender.
1) Completion of the roundabout of San Rocco and construction cost of the overpass for which funding has already been achieved regional 291mila € likely to be wasted. To complete these works simply move the sum of € 540 000 is intended to install air conditioning in City Hall and the installation of the garage behind the town. But the response was NO!
2) Transport services for private nursery schools (very important for families). Our proposal was to allocate € 25,000 to this end by reducing the money allocated to culture. Here, the council said NO twice but, in the face of our insistence, he "miraculously" found at least part of the money that did not seem to be (much to our satisfaction for helping schools and families).
3) Strengthening of after school for the medium that began in 2009 € 20,000 by diverting funds intended for culture. Guess the response of the junta? Still NO!
We, however, we do not surrender and we will battle for the after-school and other basic services are guaranteed in spite of the waste expressed in pure political purposes.
